Harrison County Courthouse

The current Harrison County Courthouse in Logan, Iowa, was built between 1910 and 1911. Its cornerstone was laid on October 5, 1910, and the building was officially dedicated on November 3, 1911.  The original courthouse was located in Magnolia, Iowa.  The old courthouse in Magnolia, Iowa, was built in 1873 (as the county's third courthouse building, replacing an 1854 structure that was condemned as unsafe) It was demolished in 2019 due to extreme disrepair and a lack of funds for maintenance, according to the Magnolia, Iowa Wikipedia Page.
